Senna's Portugal home in 2015

Visit Senna’s European home in the Algarve, Portugal.

Ayrton Senna had a European Home in Portugal at a lovely place called Quinta Do Lago. Since he passed away it has been owned by among others Michael Owen of Liverpool FC, Newcastle FC, Real Madrid FC and Manchester United FC.
The home is currently as of 28th april 2012 for sale for around 10 million Euros and according to this News article he purchased it for £2 Million in 2002. If you are feeling rich , you can rent it for the sum of 20,000 Euros a week. from Quinta Do Lago Properties.
The Villa is typical Senna Style, nothing ostentatious compared to other villas in the area especially when you consider how much money Senna earned and was able to afford any of the other much larger Villa’s in the area.
Senna Portugal Home on Google Maps. One of the roads was named after him (Ave Ayrton Senna). but the house is actually in the adjoining road called Rue Sado. Its awesome driving the very same roads Ayrton drove on the way to Faro airport, yet sad he left this place one morning, only to die four days later and never to return. I visited this today and can understand why Ayrton found this place Heaven on Earth. I have put some pictures of the house and Quinta Do Lago below. The Senna Portugal House Location can be found here.

There is a Go Kart four miles away called Karting Almancil that Ayrton used to drive at and was Inaugurated by him.
